The Dog Shirt Series was started back in May 2009 when I returned home from college and realized -- I didn't have a job! Summer 2009, I relied heavily on commissions and worked hard to improve my painting style as well as produce a huge chunk of work for printing on things I could turn around and sell. So, the series was initially a challenge to paint as many dog breeds as I could. It is still ongoing to this day! Its been almost a year so far, and i'm not giving up until I make as many dog breed designs as I possibly can. ;)
To this day, i've painted 13 different dog breeds, but i've painted a few breeds more than once. I don't really like the quality of my paintings from 2009, once I draw a few more breeds, I am planning on going back and redrawing my older pieces. :)
